     Carl Albert Hotchkin was born in 1939 at OH, USA.¹ He was the son of Walter James Hotchkin and Pearl Lula May Rosell. Carl Albert Hotchkin died on 18 September 1972 at Auglaize County, OH, USA. He was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, at Wapakoneta, Auglaize County, OH, USA.

     This relation ship is uncertain and the only proof is an Ohio birth of an Albert in 1939 and father named as Walter and fact that Carl Albert is buried in the same cemetery as Walter and Pearl.

     Caro was born at Watertown, Jefferson County, NY, USA, on 10 July 1872. Age 7 at the 1880 census. the 1900 census of Manhattan, NY gives her birth as April 1875. She was the daughter of William Henry Harrison Hotchkin and Julia Pratt Cooke. Caro Sherman Hotchkin died on 25 November 1887 at New York City, New York County, NY, USA, at age 15. Her death date is given in a 12 April 1912 sworn statement by her mother in regard to William's pension; however, there is a mistake as she is in the 1900 census..^2,3

     She remained unmarried. Her birth and parents are identified in the Benjamin Cleveland Family Genealogy. Her death is noted in a sworn statement made by her mother Julia P. Hotchkin on 12 April 1912. Caro died in NYC.
NY Episcopal Diocese Church Records 1767-1970 gives her burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. It is presumed that this is Woodlawn Cemetery, Manhattan but findagrave.com show only 8 people buried there.

     Caroline's father Samuel Hotchkin Esquire was travelling in the East Indies for his Health, when Caroline was born, and Caroline's mother passed a few weeks later. Caroline lost her hearing due to fever, and did not learn to speak. She was adopted after her mother passed by Charles F. Park in Feb. 1844. She married Charles K.W. Strong on Oct. 4th 1888 who was also mute and working at the U.S. Treasury Dept -he passed away in 1891.

The funeral of Mrs. Carrie Fellows was held from her late home at two o'clock on Wednesday and at 2:30 from the Methodist church. Rev. Frank W. Asquith, a former pastor, was the officiating clergyman.. Mrs, Elizabeth Sinsel and Mrs. Florence Lafler rendered two selections "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Asleep in Jesus," Miss Myra Wakeman at the piano. The many and beautiful floral offerings showed the high esteem in which she was held. Surviving are her husband, Bert J. Fellows, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Scheithier of Lockport, and Mrs. Mildred Swick of Buffalo, a son-in-law, Rudolph Scheithier, of Lockport, four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. John Richards, of Buffalo, and one brother, James Hotchkin of Newfane.. Interment was in the family plot in the North Ridge cemetery. The bearers were William J. Brado, William Jacobs. Edward L. Lafler, Adelbert Sinsel, Burt N. Lafler and Floyd Freatman..³ She was buried at North Ridge Cemetery, at Ransomville, Niagara County, NY, USA.

     Catherine (Kate) May Hotchkin was born on 23 May 1873 at Schenevus, Otsego County, NY, USA. The 1900 census gives a birth of May 1873, age 27, called Catherine.^2,3 She was the daughter of William Samuel Hotchkin and Celida Amanda Wright. Catherine (Kate) May Hotchkin appeared on the census of 1930 at Daytona Beach, Volusia County, FL, USA. The census lists the family as: Kate M. Hotchkins, 56 (1873), single, born NY, parents born NY, music teacher.. She died on 23 December 1946 at Daytona Beach, Volusia County, FL, at age 73.^4,5,6 She was buried at Schenevus Cemetery, at Schenevus, Otsego County, NY, USA.

     She remained unmarried. Kate received $2,000 plus one-half interest in the 28 Winding Rd. property from her mothers estate. The 1900 census called her Catherine. Bible records say that she never married.

     Catherine Jennette (Kate) M. Hotchkin was born on 22 July 1856 at Waterville, Oneida County, NY, USA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Mark Caldwell (M. C.) Hotchkin and Jennette M. Hovey. Catherine Jennette (Kate) M. Hotchkin died on 21 April 1919 at Kingman, Kingman County, KS, USA, at age 62.^3,4,5 She was buried at Waterville Cemetery, at Waterville, Oneida County, NY, USA.⁶

     She remained unmarried. The DAR application of Kate, (Membership #58955), gives her name as Kate Jennette. She is shown as the Grantee on a number of real estate transactions in Oneida Co., NY. On 28 December 1892 she and her sister Mary J. were the Grantees of property from their brother Robert H. and his wife, Libr 499, pg 91; and on 10 March 1904 she was a Grantee from Anna M. Hamlin, Libr 593, pg 68. At the death of her sister Mary J. Angier, she was granted property by Will, 2 June 1899, Libr 522, pg 112. She made a Passport Application on May 19 1896 on which she gave her birth date and location and said that her occupation was Capitalist. Her sister Nellie J. signed this application as a witness.

     Cecil was born at Loup City, Sherman County, NE, USA, on 13 May 1896. The compiler always thought that he was born in Michigan, but his World War I Draft Registration says Loup City, NE. the 1920 census says age 23, born MI..² He was the son of George E. Hotchkin and Louie May Kennedy. Cecil Lloyd Hotchkin registered for the World War I Draft in 1917 while living at Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI, USA. The registration card gave additional information on him: "He says tha t he is 21, born 13 May 1896 in Loup City, NE. He is a salesman for A. E. Hotchkin Milling Co in Loup City, NE. This would be his older brother Aubrey Earl. He says that he supports a wife and mother". He appeared on the census of 1920 at Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI, USA. The census lists the family as: Hotchkin, Cecil age 23, b in MI, father born NY, mother born MI; wife Lola A. age 21, b in OR, father born OR, mother born MO; Bobbie age 3 2/12, b in Not USA, parents not USA, relationship Boarder.. He married Lola Adelia Taylor at Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI, USA, on 18 March 1923.³ Cecil died on 21 May 1969 at Tarpon Springs, Pinellas County, FL, USA, at age 73. His death and burial announcement are in the Hotchkin Family Reunion files. His services were at the North Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. Daniel Youngman. Funeral home records say that he died in West Pasco at 6:45 pm. These records claim a birth in Benton Harbor MI on 13 May 1896. The records corectly give his parents as George E. Hotcin and Louie Kennedy. They say that he had lived in Hudson for 8 years and came from Aurora, IL. He was emplyed as a foreman in assembly department of Barber Green Co in Aurora, IL. He was survived by wife Lola A. Hotchkin and sister Mrs Lois Lamps..⁴ He was buried at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, at New Port Richey, Pasco County, FL, USA. Lot 108C, Sec Good Shepard, Sp 1 & 2.

     The date and place of his death comes from a Memory Card in the Hotchkin Reunion Files. Cecil was buried at Meadow Lawn Cemetery, New Port Richey, FL. Their home address at this time was Hudson, Fl. Junella Denslow Reep says that he was a barber and factory assembler. His wife’s obituary says that he was a foundry worker and that they met in Aurora, IL. The Social Security Death Index gives his death location as Riverview, Hillsborough Co, FL.

     Celia was born at Sullivan County, NY, USA, on 17 April 1845. 1900 census confirms Apr but gives the year as 1844.. She was the daughter of Joshua Francis (James) Hotchkin and Lydia Novill Grant. She married John Teller Evans at NY, USA, in 1864. Married 36 years at the 1900 census.. She resided at Ellenville, Ulster County, NY, USA, in 1877. Celia Hotchkin died on 30 May 1903 at Ellenville, Ulster County, NY, at age 58.¹ She was buried at Fantinekill Cemetery, at Ellenville, Ulster County, NY, USA.
