Majorie was given in marriage by her father. Her wedding gown was of ivory satin, designed with a marquisette and lace yoke, and long sleeves, reaching over the hand. The gown was made with a slight train. Her bridal veil was of tulle, fingertip length, and held in place with a coronet of pearls. White butterfly orchids, bouvardia and stephanotis were fashioned into a cascade bouquet.
Miss Ellen Langley of Berkley was maid of honor, and the brides maids were Miss June Golforth and Mrs. R. W. Bailey of San Francisco. Blue marquisette was worn by the honor attendant and others were gowned in shell pink. They carried bouquets of miniature pink callas and pale pink bouvardia fringed i stephanotis, and with a frill of green tulle.
Ernest Fields arrived from New York in time to be best man for his brother. Serving as ushers at the church were Ensign Robert Harris, U.S.N., and Lieutenant (j.g.) William Patton U.S.N.
The wedding reception was held in the Berkley Women's City Club, which was decorated in Spring blossoms. The officer and his bride received about 75 close friends, the bridal party, and members of the two families.
They bride is a graduate of University High School, and her husband was educated in the south.
