     Hannah M. Lewis was born in 1835 at NY, USA. Age 45 at the 1880 census of Prattsburg, NY.1 She married James Jackson Hotchkin at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, USA, on 25 April 1856. She married Daniel Dawley Waldo at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, in September 1861. Wedding information was found in his obituary.. Hannah M. Lewis died on 25 May 1896 at Steuben County, NY, USA.1 She was buried at Prattsburgh Rural Cemetery, at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, USA.

     Hannah first married James and then after his death, she married Waldo, an attorney in Prattsburg.

     John Lewis was born on 19 February 1773 at Guilford, New Haven County, CT, USA. He was the son of Edward Edmund Lewis and Jane Hodgkin. He married Lucretia Barnard at Whitesboro, Oneida County, NY, USA, on 31 January 1796. John Lewis died on 7 April 1848 at Melmore, Seneca County, OH, USA, at age 75. John Lewis died at the age of 75 years. John Lewis was born February 19, 1773 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He married Lucretia Barnard in 1795 in Hartford County, Connecticut. According to genealogical records, they had 13 children together. The children were: Celestia, Lydia, Mary, Alvah, Samuel, Emily, Sarah, Abi, Mary, Amaza, James, Edward and Benjamin. Lucretia preceded John in death in 1843. John died April 7th, 1848.
John was the son of Edward Edmond Lewis and Jane Hodgkin. John's siblings were Rebecca, Hannah, Edward and Samuel. He was buried at Rock Creek Cemetery, at Fostonia, Seneca County, OH, USA.

     Brown says that John and his family resided in Guilford, CT; Litchfield Co., CT; Whitesboro, NY; Genesee Co., NY; and finally Seneca Co., OH. According to Brown, Susan Edmonson, cited "Pioneer Lewis Families," "The Barbour Collection," and the US Census as sources for this information.

Mr. Martin (Marty) Thomas Lindsay, age 95, was employed over 60 years at the former Carrol's Shoe Store in Cohoes. He was a bowler for the Cohoes Businessman's League and past treasurer, a 50-year member of the Cohoes Knights of Columbus Council 192, he played basketball for several organizations in Cohoes, a member of the Cohoes Retail Merchants Bureau, Air Raid worker during World War II; perhaps Marty was best known as an angler and lover of the outdoors, especially in the Adirondacks. He was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church and a member of its Nocturnal Adoration Society. A particular friend of the (related) Hotchkin and Nealand families, the Raymond Quinn family, and the many wonderful neighbors of lower Central Ave. Marty is the husband of the late Littica Allen Lindsay. Survived by his son; two sisters; grandfather of three; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Two sisters preceded him.
