He was buried at Deepdale Memorial Park, at Delta Twp, Eaton County, MI, USA.
In a conversation with James Galligan, he told the Compiler that Howard was once a policeman in Detroit and Howard and Jim's mother lived in Detroit at one time. Jim said that Howard had a brother Hugh who was an orthopedic surgeon and after Howard left his mother Marjorie he went to Montana for some time but is believed to have returned to Michigan before his death. Jim also said that his mother told him that Howard's mother had died in a home fire, much as Jim's mother died later.
The Compiler had a great deal of trouble searching for the parents and siblings of Howard under the Beardley name. I finally found them under the name Beardslee. It seems that only Howard used the Breadsley spelling. Sometimes Genealogy is reall strange.
