Family Data Collection says that they were married in Lebanon, Madison, NY..3 Harvey (Hervey) H. Leet appeared on the census of 1850 at Smyrna, Chenango County, NY, USA. The census lists the family as: Harvey Leet, 52, farmer, born VT; Harriet Leet, 46, born CT; Almon Leet, 21, born NY; Clarinda Leet, 18, born NY; Lydia Leet, 13, born NY; Mary M. Leet, 11, born NY. Living next door to son George H. Leet.. He died on 25 February 1872 at Lebanon, Madison County, NY, USA, at age 74.4 He was buried at Lebanon Village Cemetery, at Lebanon, Madison County, NY, USA.

Hon. Andrew Leete, son of Gov. Wm., m. June 1, 1669, Elizabeth Jordan, dau. of Thomas and Dorothy Jor- dan. He succeeded in a good degree to the position of his father, in managing the affairs of the town and to some extent of the Colony. In 1677 he was elected to the honorable office of Assistant in the Connecticut Colony, and was annu- ally re-elected till his death. It was while holding this office that he became principally instrumental in secreting and pre- serving the charter of the Colony during the usurpation of the government by Major Andross. For a season the charter was kept in his house at Guilford. His residence was on the northwest corner of Guilford Green, on what is now the Tuttle Place. He died aged 59, Oct. 31, 1702. His wife died March 4, 1701.
