Stata (Stella) Hale was born on 18 July 1777 at Guilford, New Haven County, CT, USA.2,1 She was the daughter of Zebulon Hale and Rachel Bishop. She married Seth Hodgkin Dea. at Guilford, New Haven County, CT, before 1804.3,1 Stata (Stella) Hale died in 1821 at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, USA.4 She was buried at Rockland Cemetery, at Madison, New Haven County, CT, USA.
Stata is described in Hale House and Related Families, and in NEHGR. Cone in the Bishop Genealogy, gives her name as Statira. Her name has also been given as Stella. She was born in Guilford and baptized at the North Madison Church or formerly the Bristol Church. Her marriage to Seth is dated in 1800 based on her fathers practice of giving money to his children when they were married; this practice described in his Will. Stata's death date is not known but it would be 1817 to 1821 based on the birth of her last child and Seth's second marriage to Abigail Hubbell.5,6

Eber Hall died of old age at his home two miles north of Liberty Saturday. He was born in 1816 upon the homestead where he ever afterwards lived, and where he died. He had two wives, Rachel Sprague and Phoebe E. Barton. Surviving are three sons and one daughter from the first wife, and two sons and one daughter from the second. The father of the deceased was one of the first settlers in the town of Liberty, having come from Connecticut about the year 1800, and father and son owned and worked the farm for ninety-nine consecutive years.. He was buried at Old Liberty Cemetery, at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, USA.

Emily was born at Fallsburgh, Sullivan County, NY, USA, on 21 September 1852. Age 27 at the 1880 census.. She was the daughter of William M Hall and Mary Yarrington Grant. She married Marion Hotchkin at NY, USA, circa 1877. Emily Rebecca Hall appeared on the census of 1920 at Binghamton, Broome County, NY, USA. The census lists the family as: Emma R. Hotchkin, 67 (1852) b NY; living in home for aged, 58 Fairview.. Emily died on 22 August 1931 at Binghamton, Broome County, NY, USA, at age 78.2 She was buried at Floral Park Cemetery, at Johnson City, Broome County, NY, USA. Sec 1, Lot 13.
Her death certificate gives her parents as William Hall, born in Liberty, NY and Mary Grant, born in Neversink, NY. Death occurred in the Home for the aged at 80 Fairview Ave, Binghamton, of an obstruction of the colon. The certificate says that she is widowed but her husband is unknown. It is likely that this means that her husband has been dead for a number of years. Emily appears in the 1880 census of New Platz, NY as Rebecca, the wife of Marion, and in the 1920 census of Binghamton, Broome Co., NY as Emma R., living in the home for the aged, 58 Fairview. She appears in Bingingham City Directories between 1917 and 1930 as Emily R. (widow of Marion). The 1880 census of New Platz, NY gives her surname as Hull.
