Living next door to daughter and son-in-law Frank.. He died on 1 May 1909 at Meadville, Crawford County, PA. MEADVILLE,May 2. - Harry Goss, aged 67 years, a well known business man of the city, died suddenly of heart failure Saturday morning, shortly after entering his tailor shop on Market street.
He is survived by one son and two daughters.

     According to MI Marriages, he was son of Benend Gossen and Grieite Hoving.
Their is no evidence that this is the correct person who died and is buried in CO except name, birth date and location is correct. At the 1900 Census of Shelby, Oceana County, MI he was with his wife Ella M. Hendrick and adopted daughter Myrtle, age 7.

He was born in Canaseraga, NY, and moved to Syracuse in 1937. Harry retired as Service Manager for Bill Rapp Pontiac in 1974. He was predeceased by his sister Elaine Walker. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Edna (Clohecy) Gottschall; his daughters, Lucille (Sid) Chester, Barb (Bill) Lang; son, Bill (Pat) Gottschall; his grandchildren, Patricia Orr, Mark Orr, Kevin (Laura) Orr, David (Shari) Lang, Deborah (Steven) Verrillo, Kate (Anthony) Futia, Timothy Gottschall and Jennifer Gottschall; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services are Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Reformed Church of Syracuse. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of CNY or The Reformed Church of Syracuse, 1228 Teall Ave., Syracuse 13206.

All records of her age had been lost, but it was somewhere near eighty-four years. The deceased is survived by three children, Will Hankins, Jess Hankins, and Mrs. Anna Clark, all of Sheridan street, and a grandson, Charles Van Aiken, also of Sheridan street. Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the house in charge of Rev. E. A. Perone. Burial in Greenwood. (Petoskey Evening News, Michigan, September 1, 1913).1 She was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, at Petoskey, Emmet County, MI, USA.
