Baker died on 2 November 1942 at Watertown, Jefferson County, NY. She was killed in a car accident driven by her husband Paul..4 She was buried at Brookside Cemetery, at Watertown, Jefferson County, NY, USA. Buried on Nov 14 1942.

     She was Principal of the Hamilton Street School.
