Raymond R. Robbins, 59, of Dowagiac passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw. At the request of the family, cremation has taken place. The family is being served by McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home, Dowagiac.

Mr. Robbins was born Dec. 17, 1942, in Dowagiac, to Raymond and Hazel (McNeal) Robbins. He married Sally Peters on July 29, 1962, in Niles. He was a lifetime resident of Dowagiac and the owner of Decatur Automotive Supply for more than 15 years. He also served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Laurette Robbins.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Sally; daughter, DeEtte (Eric) Robinson of Stevensville; two sons -- Dana (Melissa) Robbins of Aurora, Colo., and Darren Robbins of Studio City, Calif; two grandsons -- Andrew Robbins and Bryce Robinson; one sister; two brothers -- Patrick (Tammy) Robbins of Dowagiac and Michael (Mincha) Robbins of Leander, Texas; and several nieces and nephews..
