She left Italy December 5, 1913 on the ship SS Prinzess Irene and arrived New York on December 18. She said that she had $16.00 with her and was joining her husband Francesco Del Vero in Boomer, WV. She gave her age as 25. She said that she was born in Cosenza, San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy. Accompaning her was her son Angelo Raffaele Dev Vero age 4 and also joining his father Francesco in Boomer, WV. Compiler doesn't know if this is Ralph or a brother.

He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, at Syracuse, Onondaga County, NY, USA.

George was apprenticed as a butcher and became prominent in that trade. He was a senior member of the wholesale firm of Alvord & Jones of Syracuse. He died from a fractured skull in an effort to save his wife from a runaway horse.
