Dr. Thomas West is the son of Francis West (1606–1692) and Margery Reeves (1608–1672), both of Duxbury, Plymouth Colony. Dr. Thomas West moved to Martha's Vineyard about 1673, and is the ancestor of all the West's on that island. He is the first known doctor on Martha's Vineyard, and also seems to have been a lawyer as well, as he is called "The King's Attorney" in 1681, and "Their Majesties Attorney" in 1690. Dr. West and his wife became members of the Sabbatarian Church in Newport, Rhode Island in 1692, but in 1702 he was excommunicated for not keeping the tenets of the church.. He was buried at West Tisbury Village Cemetery, at West Tisbury, Dukes County, MA, USA.

Full birt date comes from WWI Draft Registration.. He was the son of William Niles Wetherald and Ida Mae Bigalow. Charles Elton Wetherald married Estella M. Albro on 27 June 1906 at Flint, Genesee County, MI, USA. He was 22 and she was 24 according to 1930 census of FlintFlint, Genesee County, MI. The census lists the family as: Charles E. Wetherald, 45, married at 20, born NY, parents born NY; wife Stella M., 46, born MI, married at 24, born MI, father born NY, mother born MI; dau Bernice M, 16, born MI; dau Blanche J., 16, born MI; dau Margaret V., 10, born MI; dau Charlotte E., 6, born MI.. He died on 8 October 1969 at Grand Blanc, Genesee County, MI, USA, at age 84. Mr. Wetherald, who retired as general manufacturing manager of Chevrolet in 1945, was one of the guiding hands for 30 years as Chevrolet grew from a manufacturer of 3,000 automobiles a year to an organization that, at his retirement, had produced more than 18 million cars and trucks. His automotive career began in 1904, when he joined Buick. At that time, Buick had produced only two automobiles. He rose quickly as Buick expanded, becoming foreman in 1906, then assistant superintendent of assembly and superintendent of inspection before assisting in the incorporation of the Mason Motor Co., forerunner of Chevrolet..1,2 He was buried at Sunset Hills Cemetery, at Flint, Genesee County, MI, USA. Charles E. Wetherald, 84, a retired general manufacturing manager of Chevrolet and Vice President of the United States Sugar Co., died by suicide. He'd previously fallen in his Hollywood, Florida, home, injuring his head. The damage was beyond repair. On leave from the hospital to his Grand Blanc home, he shot himself with a .38 caliber revolver in the utility room. He was dead on arrival at Hurley Hospital. His body is interred at the Sunset Hills Mausoleum..

Golda B. George, 96, of Gladwin, died Sunday, May 18, 1997 after a short illness at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home, Gladwin. Born April 6, 1901 in Clio, she was a homemaker and a member of the Wooden Shoe United Methodist Church. The former Golda Wetherald married Edwin George in 1922 in Flint.

Surviving are two sons, Robert and wife Barbara of Columbiaville and Edwin and wife Gail of Escondido, Calif; two daughter-in-laws, Betty George of Gladwin and Joan George of Northville; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and three sisters.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel with the Rev. Donald Haskell officiating. Burial will be in the Arbutus Cemetery in Beaverton. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to donors favorite charity.. She was buried at Arbutus Cemetery, at Beaverton, Gladwin County, MI, USA.

Esther Ann Wheaton

She married John Daniels Hotchkin at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, USA, on 17 January 1849. Esther Ann Wheaton died on 21 January 1897 at South Pulteney, Steuben County, NY, USA, at age 67.1 She was buried at Prattsburgh Rural Cemetery, at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, USA.

     Prattsburg historical records show her death as 7 January 1897 at age 67. The 1880 census finds her, her husband John Daniel and children in Prattsburg, NY.
