Ida M. Wetherald, 74, died in St. Joseph's Hospital, on Monday, Oct. 3. She was the wife of William N. Werherald, and the mother of Chs. Wetherald, general manufacturing manager of the Chevrolet Motor Co. For several years the family lived on a farm in Thetford, a short distance east of the town line on the Thetford Center Road, and still have many friends in the neighborhood who remember them from the associations of past days. Besides her husband, and the son above mentioned, Mrs. Wetherald is survived by two other sons, Harry, of Washington, and Roy, of Oregon, four daughters, Mrs. Grace Willett and Mrs. Ed George, both of Flint, Mrs. Lewis Bradley, of Mt. Clemens and Mrs. James Howe, of Fenton, 33 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday. Burial in Sunset Hills..2

The registration card gave additional information on him: "Lawrence Chester Bigalow, born 17 Aug 1891, resides in Lockport. He is the Farm Manager at the County Infirmery, and Single.". He married Mabel L. Bassler, daughter of Van Dyke Bassler and Catherine (Kate) McGlynn, circa 1918 at NY, USA. Not married in 1917 at Draft Registration but married at 1920 census.. Lawrence Chester Bigalow appeared on the census of 1920 at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA. The census lists the family as: Roll T625_1241, pg 4B, ED 97, image 563, age 28 living with wife Mabel L. , age 28 and her parents, Bassler, Van D, age 58 and Kate age 57.. He died on 1 July 1929 at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, at age 37. Death date is estimated as funeral was held 3 July 1929..2 He was buried at Corwin Cemetery, at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA.
Chester is called L. Chester in the Will of Alanson Bigelow and Chester L. at the 1900 census.

Bigalow and Cordelia M. Barringer. Louvisa Bigalow appeared on the census of 1880 at Wilson, Niagara County, NY, USA. The census lists the family as: Louvisa Bigelow, 18, born NY, servant in home of Richard Holmes.. She married William Hesher at NY, USA, on 12 October 1881.1 Louvisa Bigalow died on 20 May 1906 at Wilson, Niagara County, NY. Husband William remarried in 1908. Louvisa not in 1910 census but was in NY State 1905 census..2

Ransom was born just after the death of his father. He was the son of Ephrain Bigelow and Electa Smith. He married Cordelia M. Barringer at NY, USA, circa 1855.1 Ransom E. Bigalow was a Private, andserved in 19th Inf, during the Civil War. Diischarged 3 Dec 1863. He appeared on the census of 1880 at Wilson, Niagara County, NY, USA. The census lists the family as: R. E. Bigelow, 53, born NY, parents born NY; wife Cordelia, 50, born NY, father born PA, mother born NY; son Lanson, 21, single, born NY.. He died on 11 June 1906 at Niagara County, NY, USA, at age 79. He was buried at North Ridge Cemetery, at Ransomville, Niagara County, NY, USA. Gravestone has the name as Bigalow. He is buried with the Parker-Allen families. Sec 3, Lot 299.2
In 1869 Ransom E. Bigelow purchased 35 acres property from J. C. Cumrs, 116-530.
