     Corry was a rancher and operated a grocery store with his father and brothers. He and Mary met when she was in Antlers visiting her brother Earl. Peggy Lou Clark Stephenson says that he loved to play poker and tell stories.
     After the death of his wife Mary, he moved to Tulsa to be near his son and grand children.

     Christopher Columbus Lumm Stephenson was born on 6 December 1879 at Glory, Lamar County, TX, USA. He was the son of David Logan Stephenson and Sarah Ann Akard. He married Ada May Corry at Greenville, Hunt County, TX, USA, on 31 January 1904.¹ Christopher Columbus Lumm Stephenson died on 7 November 1962 at Antlers, Pushmataha County, OK, USA, at age 82. Obit: The Paris Morning News, Friday, Aug. 29, 1919: D.L. Stephenson, an old resident of Lamar County, died at 6 o'clock yesterday evening at the home of one of his daughters, Mrs. Joe Mills, of Glory. He was stricken with paralysis about two years ago and received a second stroke a few days ago. He had been totally blind for several years and was in feeble health and helpless for some time before his death. He was born in Limestone County, AL, was seventy-five years old and came to Lamar County when he wss a small boy. After growing up, he engaged in farming all his life south of Paris, except for the time he spent in the Confederate army.

He is survived by the following children, his wife having died several years ago; Mrs. Joe Mills with whom he was making home, Mrs. George Van Burkleo of Cunningham, Mrs. Mollie Yeager and Mrs. Minnie Spears of Glory, Mrs. Ernest Adams and Mrs. Joe Hale of Paris and C.C. Stephenson of Antlers, OK. The funeral service will be held this afternoon and the burial will be at Antioch Cemetery..² He was buried at Antioch Cemetery, at Biardstown, Lamar County, TX, USA.
