     He was appointed issuing Commissary to the Battalions raised by Connecticut for the Revolutionary War says Hinsman in his Services of Connecticut in the Revolutionary War. He was a sea Captain.

     Addie Arretta Redinger was born in September 1880 at Mill Creek, Washington County, KS, USA. 1900 census of Victor, NE. She was the daughter of William Albert Redinger and Mary Gerdia Carnagie.      Joseph Antone Redinger was born on 8 July 1883 at Nodaway County, MO, USA.¹ He was the son of William Albert Redinger and Mary Gerdia Carnagie. Joseph Antone Redinger lived in 1920 at Lawrence, Nuckolls County, NE, USA. He died in October 1968 at Red Cloud, Webster County, NE, USA, at age 85.²

     William Albert Redinger was born on 29 July 1842 at Ashland, Ashland County, OH, USA. He married Mary Gerdia Carnagie on 1 January 1868 at Adair County, MO, USA. William Albert Redinger appeared on the census of 1880 at Mill Creek, Washington County, KS, USA. The census lists the family as: William Redinger, farmer, 37, born OH, father born Germany, mother born France; wife Mary, 34, born OH, parents born PA; dau Lucinda, 10, born MO; dau Stella M., 9, born MO; son Willie, 7, born MO; son Charles F., 2, born NE.. He died on 29 April 1923 at Lawrence, Nuckolls County, NE, USA, at age 80. William Albert Reddinger (sic) was born in Ashland county (sic), Ohio, July 29, 1842, and died at his home in Lawrence, Nebraska, April 29, 1923, at the age of 80 years and 9 months. He lived in Ohio until reaching the age of 23, when he moved to Adair county (sic), Mo. and in the year 1868 was married to Mary Carnegy. To this union were born seven children, two of whom are deceased, George dying in infancy, and Lucinda B. on February 3rd, 1919 (sic). The children surviving are Mrs. Stella Oatman, Ainsworth, Nebr; Mrs. Addie Jay, Cotton, Ark; Charles F. of Superior; and William and Joseph of Lawrence. Deceased was the last old soldier residing in Lawrence and in his death there is removed the last member of Chester A. Arthur Post, G.A.R. once an active patriotic organization that formed a most pleasant part of the village life here. Mr. Reddinger (sic) enlisted in Co. K 35th Reg. Iowa Infantry, August 11, 1862, as a private and served three years, being honorably discharged on August 7, 1865. After his discharge from the army he returned to Ohio for one year, going from there to Adair county (sic), Mo., where he lived about three years, when he moved to Harrison county (sic), locating there about the same length of time. Then he made his move to Nebraska where he resided in or near Lawrence for the most part, the balance of his life. Some over two years ago, deceased moved to Lincoln, Mo., returning to his old home here last fall. Mr. Reddinger (sic) was one of the old-time citizens here, whose life was a part of the community life for many years. Always even-tempered, pleasant and kind in word and manner he was universally respected by everybody. The funeral services in charge of Rev. L.K. McNeil, were held Tuesday afternoon. A short service was conducted at the home, thence going to the church where many old neighbors gathered for the final service. On account of ill health, Mrs. Reddinger (sic) was not able to accompany the funeral party from the home.

The 1900 census says Oct 1826.² He was the son of John Reeves and Hannah Hayner. He resided at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, USA, in 1857. William James Reeves appeared on the census of 1860 at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY. The census lists the family as: John Reeves, 58, born England, farmer; Hannah, 41, born NY; Wm J., 22, born NY; Charlotte M., 16, born NY; Elizabeth, 14, born NY.. He married Mary Ann Hotchkin at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, on 27 February 1868. The Whitney Family of Connecticut says that they were married at her father home by Rev Samuel Johnson of the Congregational Church..^3,2 William died on 2 June 1926 at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, at age 88. He was age 88 at death according to cemetery records.. He was buried at Hope Cemetery, at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, USA.⁴

     The Whitney Family genealogy says that they settled on her fathers farm at Newark Valley and were living there in 1878 without children.

     She married Vaughn Blair Milliron at Clio, Genesee County, MI, USA, on 27 May 1944.¹

     Lyla Helen Reid was born on 23 January 1906 at Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, USA.¹ She married Charles Percy LaPress at Niagara County, NY, USA, on 1 March 1930.      Robert Anton (Bobby) Reinhard was born on 14 September 1938 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, CA, USA. He married Marjorie Josephine (Marcy) James, daughter of Charles Milford James and Beatrice Collins, on 11 May 1970. Robert Anton (Bobby) Reinhard died on 6 November 2004 at Grants Pass, Josephine County, OR, USA, at age 66. Robert Anton Reinhart, 66, of Grants Pass died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Reinhart was born Sept. 14, 1938, in San Francisco. On May 11, 1970, in Hayward, Calif., he married Marcy James, who survives.
For 16 years, he served in the National Guard. He was a musician and performed with the 141st Division Army Band, the 295th pipeband in Sacramento, Calif., and the Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band, in which he toured Europe and Belgium.
He was the house percussionist at Bimbo's in San Francisco and also played with the Ringling Brothers Circus.
In 2001, he moved to Grants Pass from Rancho Cordova to be near his family.
He enjoyed big band jazz, Scottish music, writing Scottish drum music and teaching music. He also enjoyed the circus, and when he was a child, he built a circus in his back yard.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Bea Ryan of Grants Pass; two sons, Jim Knox of San Diego and Skip Newberry of Neu-Ulm, Germany; a brother, Guenther Hofen of Carmichael, Calif; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
