     He and his brother James lived for a long time in the Livingston County Poor House. Both were listed as weak-minded and unable to read, write or care for themselves. It is likely that they died here.

The registration card gave additional information on him: "Born 24 Jun 1892 in Eau Claire, MI; works in 5 - 10 cents store in Gosher, IN; has a dependent Wife.". He died in November 1965 at Flint, Genesee County, MI, USA, at age 73.5

     Son of William Price and Sarah Elizabeth Merrill.
Warren had a second marriage to Lola M.Adams after Aletha's death.

He married Catherine Shaw at Bartow County, GA, USA, on 21 April 1839.1 David Augustus Quarles appeared on the census of 1860 at Cass County, GA, USA. The census lists the family as: D. Quarles, 43, male, Planter, $25,000, $10,000, born TN; C., 32, female, born TN; E., 16, female, born TN; F., female, born TN; N., 11, female, born GA; L., 7, born GA; M, 4. female, born GA; W., 2, male, born GA.. David died on 27 July 1878 at Cartersville, Bartow County, GA, USA, at age 65. The Cartersville Express, August 8, 1878, Page 3 Mr. DAVID QUARLES, an old and highly respected citizen of this county died on Monday week, the result of a fall from a wagon. He was a good citizen and universally respected by all who knew him..

     The "History of Bartow Co., GA claims that David was an early real estate speculator and bought and sold property in Paulding, Floyd, and as far away as Chatham Counties. He was an early member of the Racoon Creek Baptist Church and lived on Alabama Road. In 1839 he married Catherine Shaw, daughter of William W. Shaw and they had 10 children; however, the book only accounts for six children. The 1850 census has him owning one male and three female slaves.

She lived here according to her son's World War I draft registration. She appeared on the census of 1920 at Cobb County, GA, USA. The census lists the family as: Drucilla Edwards, age 78, b GA, living with son in law James Orr..
