Andrew. Bessie and Sherman were married by Rev. Rowland Soule. Sherman name appears a number of times in the Civil War Diary of his brother, Charles Nelson and the Compiler has a copy of a letter exchanged between them.
Compiler finds no record of an Adam and Martha Millard with daughter Mary Rebecca, but there is an Nathaniel Millard and his wife Martha with daughter Mary R., born 1842 in the 1855 NY State Census of Paris, Oneida County, NY.¹

     In a 19 May 1856 deposition made by Jermiah Hotchkiss, brother of Aurelia, he says that he and Christopher went to Texas in 1836 when Christopher considered settling there. Christopher returned to New York the following year and then in the same year Christopher, his wife Aurelia and their four children returned to Texas. They settled in Houston and Christopher operated a steam-saw mill on White Oak Bayou, opposite the City of Houston, and he carried on his business there until his death in about the month of September 1839.
