A native of Watervliet, MI, Mr. Kittell moved here in 1972 from Kalamazoo, MI. He was Baptist.

Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie Stephens, Silver Springs; son, James Kittell, Silver Springs; sister, Freida Casselbaum, Eau Claire, MI; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
