George N. Fuller was the author and editor of many books on the early history and genealogy of Michigan and its families. The December 28 1948 edition of the Lansing State Journal comments on the suicide and loss of Mrs. G. N. Fuller, poetess and wife of Historical Commission Fuller. The next few days’ edition talks about her suicide note and wedding ring being found. On December 31 the paper says that they are still searching for her body. The Compiler finds George N. Fuller in both the 1920 and 1930 census as a historian for the state of Michigan. At the 1920 census George is found at two locations, at one he is listed with his wife Belle and both daughters and at the other he is a roomer with his daughter Florence. At the 1930 census he is living with wife Helen L. and daughters Florence and Margaret.

(Kinsgton Enterprise says WILLIAM Gage - Cass City Chronicle says ROBERT Gage) OBITUARY - William Gage, 87, retired farmer and life-long resident of the Thumb, died Wednesday, August 19 in his home in Wilmot after being ill since January, 1953.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Harmon Funeral Chapel here. Rev. Kenneth Bolleau, pastor of Lapeer Pilgrim Holiness Chruch, officiated. Burial was in the Kingston Cemetery.
Mr. Gage is survived by his widow, Jennie; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Miners, Sandusky; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Blanche Willy, Detroit, and two brothers, Robert of Cassopolis, Mich., and Walter of Croswell.
Mr. Gage was born March 22, 1866 in Fremont Township, Sanilac County. He and Miss Jennie Fifer were married February 7, 1900 in Kingston.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband Herbert, her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Donna Hotchkin, her daughter Carol Hotchkin (James Roland Norwood), grandchildren; Dawn, Brent, Seth, Aaron and Jesse, great-grandchildren Kai, Riku and Kyle and her sister Audrey Connor.
