The family moved to the farm of Grenda's mother Margaret in Clay, NY after the birth of Marion because their son Richard was ill and the doctor thought that country living would be better for him. Eight years later the moved to Brewerton, NY. After the divorce Laurence moved back to Chicago. He married a lady named Ada and they lived in California. When Laurence was diagnosed with Cancer he moved back to Brewerton where he died.

Ed, You have my father as Laurence Henry Ennis II, this was his name on the birth certificate, however his baptismal certificate it is Richard Harry
Ennis II after his grandfather. He never used the name Laurence, in fact when he applied for his passport he sent for the birth certificate and that
was when he learned of the change. He then sent for his baptismal certificate and used that to secure a passport under that name Richard Harry
Ennis. Thus, he was never known as Laurence. I think this should be at least noted under his name.
